Techno India University, West Bengal is glad to announce that it has undertaken a scientific research project based on Teleconnections of ENSO and IOD on Ocean Wave Parameters. The objective of this project is to study the spatial teleconnection and significant correlations among ENSO, IOD and SWH and subsequently to generate spatial maps of return periods of SWH as significantly affected by the particular teleconnection indices. The Funding agent for this project is Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under DST and the funding amount is Rs 19 lakhs for a duration of 3 years (13-10-2014 to 12-06-2018)
