(Litigation), Regulatory Bodies etc. The Corporate world has its measurable share in the recruitment of
Law Graduates. The expectations of the corporate world are very high and keeping this in mind the
Placement Cell in our University has been formed to bridge the gap between the student and the
corporate world. In India, the legal profession has undergone a massive change over the past few
decades. Nowadays, legal jobs are available not only in courts, but you can find abundant options in
different corporate houses, law firms, law agencies and many others. It is a respectable profession taken
by many young individuals these days. The reason is that the scope of legal procedures has taken place
in many in many sectors that include corporate counsel, law firms, social organizations, judicial
services/civil services, academia, judicial clerkship and media & law. Thus, with the growing scope of
legal practices, there is a high demand for law practitioners.
The Internship and Placement cell of Techno India University, West Bengal works throughout the year
and provides structured interface in building relationships and networking with legal professionals from
the industry. Our Placement Cell is committed towards advising our students on diverse career
perspectives and guiding them in maintaining the pace of their development. It provides latest
information and also arranges training and legal luminary interaction sessions and facilitates
opportunities on law internship and final placement opportunities. It acts as a link between the
recruiters and the students, thereby fulfilling the needs of both, and enabling the students to get
placements. The members of the Placement team strive hard to ensure that maximum students from
the college get placements, thus providing them with an opportunity to showcase their skills.
