1. To prepare the students for applying the knowledge gained for innovations in design and process which leads to energy efficiency and improvement in     quality.
2. To carry out research work in the field of renewable energy and electric vehicles.
3. To boost the entrepreneurship skills of the students by industry-academia interactions, field visits and social visits. Students shall be capable of     becoming an entrepreneur after 4 to 5 years of service.
4. To empower the students with software and hardware skills, knowledge and expertise to immediately adapt with the current and future industry     scenario with high-degree of automation.
5. To nurture innovative thinking in order to carry out interdisciplinary research which addresses the present social and environmental issues.
