The syllabus has been framed in such a way that during the 4-year course even if a student may takes a liking towards any other stream, they may pursue that discipline in the Postgraduation course and for that reason appear for GATE examination, according to his or her personal preference and interest. They can pursue masters in either or both these streams and from there, step into the Doctoral programmes streamwise. The syllabus is dynamic and specially caters to that multi-dimensional approach of study which would broaden both their domain and associated knowledge in both these subjects. Thus, if one person has knowledge of both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, then one can flourish much more in the industrial arena and will also be able to facilitate new innovations through research at much less cost.
