As a pioneer in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication, the Department prepares the students to succeed in the modern mass media and digital communications environment. The students are taught to assess the media’s relationship with the world, through an investigation of contemporary media systems. Research opportunities abound in our program. The students become proficient in areas such as media diversity, political communication, and digital effects and media psychology.
